Application Information for ELI Online

The English Language Institute

These are the instructions for applying to ELI Online.

Submit a writing sample.

Choose ONE of the following topics to write about

Health
Jobs
Language

DO NOT write about all three topics.

You may use a dictionary.

Double space.

You should take only 45 minutes for this writing sample.

Use your time to:

focus the topic
brainstorm ideas
organize your ideas
write your essay
edit your work

When your writing sample is complete, please make sure your name and email address are on your paper. Then print it and FAX it to:

We will contact you as soon as we determine if our program is right for you.

If our program is the right one for you, you may go to the next step.

Submit your application:

  • Print the Application Form for ELI Online. You may also use the .pdf (requires Acrobat Reader).
  • Send in your application, a one-time only application fee of $50US and the course fee of $480US. This fee must be paid by the first day of class or you will be disenrolled from the class.

We will read your application and writing sample.
You will receive an acceptance letter by email.
Then, you will be able to enroll in the class. We will give you instructions.
