INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES
The students will be able
to:
- --identify sounds in
a stream of language
--recognize sentence breaks
--recognize topic and main idea by listening to and
comprehending key words;
--recognize words from areas, such as: objects, places,
colors, dates, numbers, foods, sports, weather, time
etc.

INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES
This class will help you:
- --listen for main ideas
and details
--develop language skills necessary to communicate in
basic social interactions
--become familiar with common speaking patterns used
in everyday social settings
--develop listening skills necessary for comprehending
simple oral messages
--make predictions about what you will hear and how
to respond, by stimulating active
--make predictions about content and anticipate response;
and
--listening and involvement in basic communicative language
functions.

in small group discussions offering information, giving

--learn how to give speeches and feel comfortable speaking
in front of a group

The objectives of the course

students to the research paper writing process
